Where the Hell is My Apple TV!

In this installment of the "Really Random Rant", I want to know where in the world my Apple TV is. I have been waiting for the darn thing for at least a month. Come on Apple, you are not really inspiring me here.

I know that the ship date is next week. I just thought that Apple would start trickling them out slowly, much as they do their other products.

That leads me to believe that something is wrong. I really hope that it isn't. This is the first time that I have fallen into the "pre-order" trap with Apple. Usually I do the sensible thing and order a few weeks after I start reading the reviews. The pull of the Apple TV was just too strong for me.

I am getting so tired of hooking my laptop to my TV to watch Diggnation or GeekBrief. It's funny because I know Apple TV is coming, I'm basically shutting off the solutions I have now (watching it on my computer screen, hooking my laptop up to my TV, buying an Xbox, etc.).

Much to the chagrin of "Technorati" out there, I USE ITUNES FOR MY PODCATCHER AND I LOVE IT. There I said it. I want that "all in one" solution that that Steve Jobs promised me.

Ok, ok, this rant is going nowhere. But it feels good to get if off my chest. Plus, I'm hoping that my usual bad timing will kick in and I will see that it shipped right after I post this.

We can all dream, can't we?

Until then, I'm going on a video podcast strike! No more video podcasts until I get my Apple TV. Stay tuned as I go into video podcast withdrawal.
